Friday night I had a very strange conversation with an old boyfriend. We'll call him....oh hell his name is Nathan. Anyway, Nathan and I dated for a few months last year after I split from my husband. We have been friends for 7 years and in that time we had several conversations about "what if". We tried many times to be together but he always made more promises than he could keep. The last time we went out he gave me the, "I love you and want to marry you" speech. Well, no more than 2 weeks after that he had dumped me and moved on to the girl he is with now. He is engaged to this girl and until Friday I thought everything in his strange little world was going great. So, here's how it played out. He asked me about a guy I went out with after we broke up and went on to tell me that he wasn't right for me. Then he told me that he didn't belong with the current girlfriend. He also told me that he still loves me and misses me very much. WHAT!? After the hell I went through after he dumped me, he has the balls to tell me that. I can't count how many times he has screwed me over and came back to say, "I made a mistake." My first reaction was to play him like he played me and screw him over just as bad. I was going to play his game and make sure him and his girlfriend were broken up, then tell him how much of an idiot he is and dump him. Then I remembered that I am an adult. So, I'm done. To all that read this blog and know this snake, be aware. He is a charming liar that will do whatever is necessary to get what he wants, then throw it away without a care when he's done.
1) Told my friend after we broke up that he never loved me. He knew I loved him and he needed that at the time.
2) Told same friend he didn't like my son and was quoted saying he was a "Brat".
3) Told me to get a divorce because he wanted to marry me. 2 weeks after the papers were signed he dumped me for someone else.
4) A month after he dumped me he sent his new girlfriend to my office to pick out glasses.
The list goes on and on.

Yeah, Karma has not been my friend. All I need is to piss it off more.
Kudos to you for not stooping to his level. Some people are just beneath you and always will be no matter how hard they attempt to be intellectual. Better to let them stew forever over unfulfilled love.
i saw nate the other day and he said that he could not come to our annual christmas party because he had to go to SL's dad's house. i told him, "well, that is fine but you knew about our party over a month ago". he apologized profusely and said he would try to make it. he's changed so much...for the worse it seems. i've never agreed to the way he has ran you around. now i'm glad his "butt" was stolen in st. louis
Thanks guys. I'm glad you all agree that he is a pathetic loser. I hope she finds out what a crap weasel he is and dumps him flat on his ass.
